Dream Dome Homes are all based on the concept of a 30 foot diameter, 12-sided "circle," or dodecahedron. This concept applies both horizontally--the area covered on the ground by one of our domes--as well as vertically, since the panels connect at the same angles as they arch over from one side to the other. Each Dream Dome, then, is 30 feet in diameter, and sixteen feet from ground floor to roof, with a small peak at the center giving the extra foot of height.
The Longhouse panels also connect to one another vertically the same way, arching over even though they are straight on the horizontal axis. The Longhouse is also 30 feet wide and 16 feet high at the center.
You can purchase a Dream Dome Home kit in various levels of completion. None of them include foundation, or anything involved in the preparation of your land, and none include appliances. These include:
